Glenn received
a BS in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and
served as a pilot in the USAF for 6 years, including 2 tours as an
airborne Forward Air Controller during the Vietnam War. Glenn
completed his AF career as a squadron flying safety officer, which lead to a 30
year career in industrial safety for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.
There he provided loss prevention service to a wide variety of companies from
medium sized industrial and service organizations to Fortune 500
industrial and mining operations. These services included advice on fire
protection, security, liability and workers compensation to companies in
California and the Northeast and in Latin America from Mexican border
maquiladoras to Punta Arenas Chile. Glenn retired as a Vice President in charge
of Latin American Loss Prevention, supervising engineers in 8 countries.
Glenn lives in
the Prospector neighborhood of Park City with his wife Shirley. They have
3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Glenn enjoys skiing, mountain
biking and hiking and is a soccer fan.
