Ann Johnson has been a member of the Summit County Public Art Advisory Board for 2 years. As a member of Leadership Park City Class XVI, she was encouraged to participate in the community, and when the opportunity to help on the Summit County Public Art Advisory Board was presented, she volunteered.
Ann has a BA in communications from Brigham Young University and an MA in history from Arizona State University. An 18-year resident of Summit County, she has worked for a variety of nonprofits in the area, including KPCW radio and the Park City Performing Arts Foundation.
She is presently development manager for Peace House. The board reflects Ann's belief that public art stimulates dialogue in the community, while enhancing a sense of pride and fostering community identity. Art lifts us, makes us look at the world differently and burnishes the soul.
