[ARCHIVED] 2023 Municipal General Elections

OFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS (2)

On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, Utah Governor Spencer Cox issued a set of proclamations, moving the primary and general election dates for this year.

The reason for the delay is the resignation of Utah Congressman Chris Stewart, who represents the state's second district, which covers Salt Lake City and the southwest rural part of the state, including Tooele and St. George. His resignation is effective Sept. 15. Under Utah law, the governor had seven days to determine a schedule to replace Stewart with a special election.

When are the 2023 General Elections happening?

This year’s General Election date has been moved to November 21, 2023. Please note, this change is not permanent and only pertains to this year’s elections.
