[ARCHIVED] Volunteer Opportunity – Peoa Recreation Special Service District

The Summit County Council, acting in its capacity as the Governing Board of the Peoa Recreation Special Service District, is seeking four individuals to serve on the Administrative Control Board of the Peoa Recreation Special Service District.

 The purpose of the Board is to provide for the public health, safety, and general welfare of the residents living within the jurisdictional boundaries of Peoa recreation special service district, the district is authorized to provide recreational services and programs through facilities or systems acquired or constructed for that purpose through construction, purchase, lease, contract, gift or condemnation or any combination thereof. An applicant must be a registered voter within the district.  The Board generally meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.  

 Pursuant to Code, a vacancy is published after a current member’s term expires.  If eligible, the member can reapply. Three members whose terms are expiring are eligible to reapply.
