Summit County Council, the North Summit Fire Administrative Control Board, and Coalville and Henefer Mayors and Council Members will meet on Thursday, February 17 at 6 PM to discuss the future of fire services in North Summit. The meeting will take place at the Ledges Event Center (202 Park Road, Coalville) in the large meeting room.
The purpose of the meeting is to allow elected and appointed officials to discuss the future of fire service, governance details and operational possibilities and to receive public comment to inform future County Council decision making. Public comment will be taken following a presentation by staff and discussion among councils, mayors and board members.
Questions and public comment will be taken in-person only and limited to 3 minutes per person. Individuals who wish to view the meeting virtually but not participate can do so via live stream on the "Summit County, Utah" Facebook page.
An Eastern Summit County Planning Commission Meeting is being conducted in the smaller conference room in the same building during this meeting. Attendees are asked to be mindful and respectful of noise levels while in the central space of the building.
