The Utah Department of Workforce Services Housing and Community Development Division has launched the Rental Assistance Program (RAP) to help residents economically impacted by COVID-19 pay their rent and retain their housing. Applications are available at local agencies.

There are three different eligible groups:
-First, individuals who do not qualify for unemployment benefits.
-Second, individuals who are working and have experienced pay cut, but are not eligible for unemployment benefits and require assistance with housing costs.
-Third, individuals who have applied for unemployment insurance and are still waiting for a response.
