Summit County Auditor’s Office is recruiting a highly motivated Auditor to assist the County Auditor in administering and managing the Auditor’s Office directives. Under limited supervision this position will manage and supervise audit work; plan complex audit programs; assist in supervising deputy auditors engaged in reviewing, evaluating, and recommending changes in performance, financial, information system, and operating procedures; and maintain effective communications with department heads. Extensive knowledge of internal auditing standards and procedures is required. Salary is DOQ.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or other closely related field and 6 years of closely related work experience managing auditing or accounting professionals, 1 year of which must be in a supervisory position.
