Notice to Residents of Silver Creek:

The Service Area #3 office at 629 Parkway Drive will be closed on Monday, December 25th in observance of Christmas.

Board of Trustee Vacancy Notice

We have Board of Trustee vacancies. Please see Vacancy notice below. We currently have one mid-term opening and one full term vacancy for lower district. The Board is volunteer and they meet monthly, usually the third Tuesday of the month from 5:30pm - 9:30pm. This is a great way to get involved and learn more about Silver Creek.

About Service Area #3

Summit County Service Area #3 (SCSA#3) is a public governmental entity created by the State of Utah, local residents and Summit County government to provide limited services to Silver Creek Estates, Greenfield Ranch and East Creek Ranch subdivisions. We are located in the Snyderville Basin of unincorporated Summit County, Utah.  

  • SCSA#3 performs road maintenance, snow removal, ROW management, culinary water system, water rights administration, trails, parks and drainage.  We work cooperatively with Summit County to uphold their regulations and we rely upon them to provide enforcement support. 
  • SCSA#3 is funded through property tax, Ad Valorem tax, water rights administration fees, culinary water fees and construction fees.  Seven publicly elected volunteer Board of Trustees direct the vision, policy and management of the Service Area with the assistance of a full-time General Manager, a full-time Office Manager, two part-time employees and legal counsel.
