Board of Health – 5 to 12 Members.
County Fair Advisory Board – 11 members.
Library Board of Directors – 5 to 9 members.
Board of Adjustment – 5 members.
Summit County Mosquito Abatement District – 11 members.
Summit County Weed Control Board – 3 to 7 members.
Mountain Regional Water Special Service District Administrative Control Board – 5 to 7 members.
Summit County Recreation Arts and Parks Advisory Committee (RAP Tax Cultural Committee) – 7 members.
Summit County Recreation Arts and Parks Advisory Committee (RAP Tax Recreation Committee) – 7 members.
Summit County Restaurant Tax Advisory Committee - 9 members.
South Summit Cemetery Maintenance District – 5 members.
Hoytsville Cemetery Maintenance District – 5 members.
Wanship Cemetery Maintenance District – 5 members.
Snyderville Basin Open Space Advisory Committee – 7 to 11 Members.
North Summit Recreation Special Service District - 5 to 7 members.
Snyderville Basin Special Recreation Service District – 5 to 7 members.
Park City Fire Service District – 5 members.
North Summit Fire Service District – 5 to 7 members.
Summit County Service Area #5 (Lake Rockport Estates) - 5 members.
Echo Creek Ranches Special Service District – 5 to 7 members.
Eastern Summit County Agriculture Preservation and Open Space Advisory Committee – 7 to 11 members.
Eastern Summit County Planning Commission – 7 members. Three-year terms, appointed by County Council. Purpose: To hear land use proposals, make recommendations to the County Council regarding the general plan, and adhere to the Eastern Summit County Development Code. Term expirations in February.
Snyderville Basin Planning Commission – 7 members. Three-year terms, appointed by County Council. Purpose: To hear, review and recommend approval or disapproval of land use proposals consistent with the Snyderville Basin Development Code and other governing documents and to prepare or cause to be prepared amendments to the general plan, zoning and subdivision regulations. Term expirations in February.
Summit County Finance Committee – 2 at large citizens. Two-year terms, appointed by County Manager. Purpose: To review the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, recommend financial and fiscal policies, review the multi-year capital plan and provide recommendations to maximize the revenue collected by individual County departments. Term expirations in August.
Summit County Historical Society – 7 to 11 members.
Timberline Special Service District - 7 to 11 members.
Public Arts Program and Advisory Board - 9 members. Members serve 3-year terms, appointed by the County Manager, with at least 1 year as a slate member. Board Member Roles: 1) attend a monthly Board meeting 1st Tuesday of each month 8:15 to 10:15 am; 2) 5 hours per month of volunteer work including: a) project implementation, b) identification of funding sources, c) public outreach, d) project selection, e) artist selection, and f) partnership development with community members and groups; 3) understand and implement the public art policy and strategic plan; 4) represent public art projects in the community and represent the community interests to the board. Term expirations in July.
