Summit County Public Works provides the community with a public service opportunity that is highly visible for local non-profit and service organizations through the Adopt-A-Road Program.
Program Requirements
In this program community groups are asked to select a 2 mile segment of road and clean it twice a year (Spring and Fall). County Public Works will provide groups with reflective vests, plastic bags and guidelines for conducting a road clean-up. We do ask for groups to sign up for available segments and make a minimum 2 year commitment to the program.
Program Perks
In return, the county will erect a 24 inches by 30 inches reflective sign with the group's name on it at each end of the road segment. For more information, please contact Summit County Public Works at 435-615-3970 to find out about available road segments.
