2014 Election Information

2014 is a general election year. Up for election will are officials from federal, state, county, local school boards, and several judges (retention election). Notice of Election:

The filing period is from March 14-20th from 8:00am - 5:00pm. Candidates for county or local offices must file in-person at the Clerks office. The fee is $50 + 1/8 of 1 percent of the salary of the office being filed for. Local School Board filing fees are $50. Candidates for state offices may file in the Clerk's office or at the Lt. Governor's office at the Capitol.

Absentee ballots must be post marked on or before June 23rd.
