Part-time Landfill Gate Attendant/Spotter


Summit County is currently recruiting for a part-time Landfill Gate Attendant/Spotter. This position will work less than 20 hours per week, generally on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Will perform a variety of first-line public contact duties as needed to authorize public admittance into county transfer station; monitors waste to assure compliance with facility regulations; directs and controls vehicles at the landfill, and performs litter control duties.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from high school; and six months of general work; one (1) year of computer experience inputting and tracking data or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range:

Part-Time Landfill Gate Attendant/Spotter: $14.40 - $20.18/hr
