Summit County USU Extension is seeking a Summer Seasonal Intern to provide assistance to the County Extension Agent with the summer 4-H youth program. Primary areas of assistance will include livestock, horse production, judging teams, teen council and other areas determined by County Extension staff. Will work closely with existing 4-H advisory councils to ensure program objectives. Will serve as a liaison between local clientele, 4-H leaders and Utah State University Extension.

Minimum Qualifications:


Graduation from high school and must have college/university experience. Desirable to have past 4-H or FFA experience.

Must possess a valid Utah driver’s license and be able to furnish own transportation. Mileage will be reimbursed. This is a part time position with a flexible hour work week. Hours per week will be determined by program efforts during that particular week.

Starting Date: 5/6/2019 Ending Date: 8/16/2019

Salary Range:

  • USU Intern: $14.00/hr
