Community and Public Affairs Coordinator

Description


Summit County is currently recruiting for a Community and Public Affairs Coordinator. Responsible for the proactive dissemination of accurate and timely information to the general public and media regarding activities, policies, and events related to Summit County, including its Council, departments and agencies, with a focus on community awareness, education and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related field; and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience providing exposure to administrative processes, budgets, boards, etc. or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range:

  • Community and Public Affairs Coordinator : $59,937.35 - $84,009.92/annually
